Shobhinav Satya gives a controlled and convincing performance as Neem Karoli Baba. Playing a respected spiritual figure is not easy, but Satyaa brings a natural warmth and humility to the role. His calm screen presence adds depth to the film and makes the later portions engaging.

While a tighter screenplay and sharper editing could have made it even stronger, the film succeeds in creating a peaceful and uplifting experience.
What makes Hanuman Ansh interesting is that it works more through symbolism than direct preaching. Many events in the film can be read on two levels: the physical journey and the spiritual journey.
Ram Bhosle’s journey from freedom fighter to yogi symbolizes the shift from fighting the outer world to conquering the inner world. The British Empire represents an external enemy, while fear, anger, ego and restlessness become the internal enemies he must overcome. The film suggests that true freedom is not only political independence but also spiritual liberation.
